THE FC Porto opened the scoring at Estádio do Dragão, this Wednesday, against Académico de Viseu, in a game counting for the quarter-finals of the League Cup, with a penalty goal scored by Santiago Giménez, despite the controversy surrounding the move.
In the 44th minute, the ball ended up hitting Gambor’s arm, although it appeared to have deflected first off the visiting central defender’s chest.
However, the match referee had no doubts and pointed to the 11 meter mark, where, after confirmation from the VAR, Santiago Giménez scored the first of the match and made his debut to score at Estádio do Dragão.
