THE Vitória SC got rid of its miseries with a thrashing (5-0) against Marítimo, at the start of the 9th round of the I League. The conquerors returned – five matches later – to triumphs in the Portuguese championship.
Austrian Arnel Jakupovic was the great figure in this duel. The striker not only made his debut with the Minho team, but he did so with a brace and also added an assist.
Mosquera also scored his debut, who finished off the rout in Minho. Oumar Camara and an own goal by Paulo Henrique painted the triumph.
