THE Sporting formalized, this Saturday, the arrival of Nestroy Irankunda, presenting the latest addition to the squad under the orders of Rui Borges to the sound of the song… “Bad”, by Michael Jackson.
The young Australian winger is an avowed fan of the artist and has celebrated, several times, using a white glove.
“For me, he is the greatest artist of all time and a great inspiration. I grew up listening to his music and watching him dance is fascinating. One day, before a game, I decided to do (the celebration) and I think I will continue because everyone likes it”, explained Irankunda, speaking to the club’s official channels.
Sporting thus decided to ‘summon’ four dancers to brighten Irankunda’s arrival in Alvalade, but the new Lions player didn’t want to stop participating in the choreography.
