THE Sporting’s main team concluded, at the end of this Tuesday morning, the preparation work for the match on the third round of the Champions League league phase, in which they will face LASK Linz, in a session whose first 15 minutes took place under the gaze of the media, in compliance with UEFA regulations.
This session ended up not bringing much news for Rui Borges, who, as expected, cannot count on the contribution of Zeno Debast, Nuno Santos and Rodrigo Zalazarwhose names continue to appear on the green and white clinical report and who never set foot on the pitch at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy, in Alcochete.
The Belgian central defender continues to experience muscular discomfort, the Portuguese left-back is still trying to achieve the best physical performance, after the total rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee suffered in October 2024, and the Uruguayan forward continues to recover from an injury to his left thigh, and for now it is unknown when he will be declared fit.
