Sporting’s moment: “I believe we are building a good path. We are adapting better to the ideas, the collective fit has improved. We are far from the best, obviously. I thank the fans for their support, it feels like we are playing at home. Now it’s time to rest because there is the Champions League on Tuesday.”
Criticism of Rui Borges: “The outside doesn’t come into play. We are dissatisfied with the results. The fans always want victories and they are right. Things are not going the way we would like, but we have to work, as the coach says. There is nothing to do but work. We are improving offensively and defensively, today we had a safer match.”
Goal scoring streak: “I’ve been working waiting for the opportunities when they arise. I took the best of them, scored three goals in two games and it’s something unprecedented in my short career. We have to continue like this and, if I can continue to score goals, the better.”
