Ward changes: “In relation to Lukebakio, we tried to give it more width and for our construction to be more like four. In relation to the other corridor, it had to do with wanting the width of Andreas and that was the objective of the two changes.”
Entrance to Echeverri: “We wanted some inspiration. It was clearly not an inspired night for us. We didn’t play how we like to play and it was a lot of heart, but without the quality we like to have. We missed a lot of unopposed passes. It was an uninspired night on our part. As for Echeverri, we tried to get him to give us more quality between the lines. The penalty shot is an example of that. But we made a lot of mistakes in the last third in the 1st half and we have to have the ability to run the game faster in this type of game where everything is congested.”
There was little tranquility: “Alverca’s players often jumped on players without the ball and we didn’t have to try to speed up. We have to take the game where we want. I also felt the team was uneasy for no reason. It’s a game with no goals conceded and another victory.”
