Defensive cohesion: “From a defensive point of view. From an offensive point of view we could have been more capable. There was room for us to be better and more effective. If we had been calmer we could have scored goals and we could have had another result. We were a team that always went after the game, even with the expulsion. We never hid… But we didn’t take any points.”
Offensive detail: “We reached FC Porto’s defensive midfield many times. I think we could have been more capable, honestly. We managed to get inside FC Porto’s structure many times. But it’s a very difficult game to play, FC Porto constantly makes a lot of fouls and does them well to stop attacks.”
Did you cancel FC Porto?: “There were moments when we managed to nullify FC Porto and the goal perhaps came in one of the few moments we made a mistake. But the team did well, against a team of this size and taking into account that we had an expulsion.”
