THE Benfica achieved its first victory in the 2026/27 edition of the I League, beating Casa Pia 7-0 away on Monday night, in a match on the second round.
In a duel played in Rio Maior, and after Ofori’s own goal, Colombian Jhon Durán had the task of completing the Reds’ rout.
Having just entered the match to defeat the Greek Pavlidis, who had scored a hattrick in the duel, the forward caught the ball at the edge of the area and fired a powerful shot that only ended up in the back of the geese’s net.
