HThere’s a new Portuguese name that’s making people talk in Italy. This is Gustavo Varela, who this Monday scored two more goals for Monza. The young Benfica graduate scored twice against Cagliari, in the 7th round of Serie A, and continues to leave his mark.
In the first goal, Varela showed fine aim, while in the second he was in the right place to fix the final result.
The young Portuguese striker thus scored eight goals in a total of seven games with Monza, a club that paid just over two million euros to Benfica for his signing last summer.
Check out the goals.
