“DDuring the week we looked at our work, at our identity, at what we are building. The team has been working well, the players have accepted our game idea, a positive idea”, began by saying the coach, in a press conference ahead of the duel with the islanders.
As for the opponent, Vasco Matos expects an “aggressive” team.
“It’s a very competitive team, that works and runs a lot, conditions the opponent when without the ball, very aggressive. It’s a very strong team that fights a lot”, highlighted the Estoril coach.
Playing away for the first time in this championship, Vasco Matos promises an Estoril as competitive as the one that received Famalicão in Amoreira (1-1), at the start of the competition.
“We want to be very competitive, impose our game idea and be prepared for the different moments of the game. We want to be extremely competitive in all fields, play well, as we showed with Famalicão most of the time”, recalled the 45-year-old coach.
With the market still open, Vasco Matos revealed that reinforcement Stelios is ready to go to play and confessed that he is “waiting for someone else to arrive”.
