THE The meeting between Benfica and Gil Vicente, which ended with a 4-1 defeat in favor of the Eagles, this Thursday, in the quarter-finals of the League Cup, had no ugly goals to tell the story.
After beautiful shots from Lukebakio and Sudakov opened the scoring in the first half, the Belgian international scored a brilliant goal, before Durán poked the ball past Samuel Portugal into the Eagles’ fourth.
However, Gil Vicente also scored a great goal, and perhaps the most impressive, with Andreas Hausen scoring from 30 meters past Trubin’s goal.
