FFace to face are two teams that have already changed coaches this season: in Famalicão (11th) Carlos Carvalhal left and assistant Ricardo Silva took over, and in Arouca (fifth) it was Vasco Seabra who transferred to Rio Ave and Vítor Severino entered.
With the new coach, Arouca felt a huge positive impact, with the team visiting Famalicão after a series of four consecutive victories, three in the I League and one in the Portuguese Cup, in a 100% winning cycle for Severino.
The opening game takes place in a day that continues until Sunday and precedes a break for the national teams’ commitments, and in which Sporting, with new coach, Paulo Fonseca, receives Moreirense on Saturday, while on Sunday the champion and leader FC Porto visits Vitória de Guimarães and Benfica, Estrela da Amadora.
