THE Estádio da Luz hosts, at the end of this Thursday night, another European duel that, this time, pits Benfica and Celtic face to face, in a game that is valid for the second round of the single league phase of the Europa League.
The red team comes ready for this game, following the triumph against Vitória SC and is looking for its second victory in this stage of the Europa League, after the triumph in Italy against Ruben Amorim’s AC Milan, in the previous round.
As in previous games, Marco Silva may present some changes in the starting eleven, and he can now count on French central defender Lenglet, who served a suspension game against Vitória SC.
The duel between Benfica and Celtic is scheduled to kick off at 8pm (Mainland Portugal time) on Thursday, and will be officiated by Nikola Dabanovic, who will lead a 100% Montenegrin refereeing team, made up of assistants Srdan Jovanovic and Vladan Todorovic and fourth referee Milos Savovic. In VAR, there will be the Dutch Pol van Boekel, assisted by the Swiss Fedayi San.
