THE Sporting revealed, this Thursday, the ‘behind the scenes’ of what was Paulo Fonseca’s first day as coach of the first team, after being acquired from Olympique Lyon, in exchange for a sum of around five million euros.
The Portuguese coach led a training session at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy, in Alcochete, and was later formally presented at the José Alvalade Stadium, in a ceremony in which he was surprised by the presence of his parents and daughters, a situation that left him visibly emotional.
