THE The coach of Académico de Viseu assumed today that the team will face a difficult game when traveling to Madeira to face Nacional, in the 11th round of the 1st Football League, to be played on Saturday.
“It’s going to be a difficult game, like all of them, with different characteristics. Different in tactical terms and with different difficulties. It’s going to take a lot of work to get the three points in Madeira, but we’ll have to do it”, stated Bruno Pinheiro, at the preview press conferences.
The coach of Académico de Viseu also said that, in the last few games, Nacional is a team “a little more compact defensively, with a line of five, and, just from there, they immediately change their approach to the game”.
“We only conceded one goal from a set piece, so the message is given and we will have to be focused. Nacional closed the doors on goal, but we have to have arguments to bring (the points) to our side”, he added.
One of the “biggest challenges” for the team, he said, will be “being able to score a goal from a running ball”, something that Nacional in the last few rounds did not concede to any of the “beautiful opponents”, such as Sporting de Braga and Arouca.
Regarding the new black and white coach, João Henriques, he stated: “I believe that the coach, as he has more time to work, can add something more to his team, because, at this moment, the priority will have been to stabilize the team defensively, so that he can compete for points and, now that he has found it, perhaps he can bring some new things to our game. Let’s see”.
Académico de Viseu, which has 20 points and occupies sixth place, travels on Saturday, at 3:30 pm, to Nacional, which has seven points and remains in 10th place, in a game refereed by Pedro Ramalho, from the Évora association.
