THE Vitória de Guimarães concluded the 2025/26 season with a loss of 1.53 million euros (ME) in various activities, excluding those of SAD, which oversees the Portuguese First League football team.
After confirming a negative net result of 11 ME in SAD operations in 2025/26, with the information published on October 15th, the people of Guimarães published today, on the official website, the club’s report and accounts, which will be discussed and voted on by members at the ordinary general meeting on November 6th.
The Minho team presented a negative net result in the club’s operations for the third consecutive season, after losses of 1.13 ME in 2023/24 and 1.03 ME in 2024/25, after income of 5.5 ME and expenses of 5.64 ME.
This negative operating balance of 147 thousand euros was converted into a negative result of 1.53 ME due to expenses with amortization, depreciation, interest and taxes.
The operation with the 15 sports that the club offers, in addition to football, presented an operational deficit of 1.3 ME.
Vitória also confirmed that it earned revenue of 2.9 ME from membership fees, in a season that concluded with 29,050 members.
Liabilities grew from 6.1 to 9.2 ME, a variation explained in the report and accounts with the “effect of recognizing a deferred tax liability of 3.19 ME associated with the revaluation of the football academy”.
This revaluation contributed to an even higher increase in assets, from 29.7 ME to 48.3 ME, which also led to an increase in equity, from 24.3 ME to 39.8 ME.
