Rui Borges took advantage, this Thursday, of the traditional press conference to preview the opening match of the tenth round of the I League, against Casa Pia, to give a ‘thumb on the table’ regarding the “noise” that has settled around Sporting.
The Leonine coach assured that the “noise” is “completely beside him”, recalled that he did not arrive at the José Alvalade Stadium “by parachute” and guarantees that, at this moment, he is exclusively focused on closing the current nine-point gap to the leader (and also national champion), FC Porto.
Finally, the Mirandelenense made it known that he will not be able to count on the “injured” Zeno Debast and Rodrigo Zalazar for the trip to the Rio Maior Municipal Stadium, where he expects to face a growing opponent.
