THE Sporting de Braga visits Aarhus today looking for points that will allow them to move up in the league stage of the Conference League and when the Minho team remain in the play-off zone in the third UEFA competition.
In a season at ‘half gas’ and which has already led to a change of coach, with the departure of Carlos Vicens and the entry of Franclim Carvalho, the Braga fans are still looking for their best version and when they have not achieved two consecutive victories for almost two months.
The ‘arsenalistas’ play today at the Randers Stadium, in Randers, a ground borrowed from Aarhus, after having beaten Gent in the last round of the Conference League (2-0) and after a defeat in their debut, away to Copenhagen (3-0).
The team, coached by Franclim Carvalho in only the last four games, also returned to winning ways in the I League in the last round, beating Famalicão at home, an opponent who had eliminated them a few days before in the League Cup.
In the Conference League, Sporting de Braga occupies 16th place, with three points in two rounds, while Aarhus is 26th, with one point.
