Rui Borges is under fire, but he doesn’t have time to breathe at Sporting, as they have a clash this Tuesday against Marítimo, counting for the quarter-finals of the League Cup, on their return to the Estádio de Alvalade, two days later.
Given the proximity between the two matches, the truth is that the Leonine coach should not have his hands full and may be forced to change the 11 players who started the match against Académico de Viseu this Sunday.
Rui Silva should once again take over Sporting’s goal, while an opportunity for Eduardo Felicíssimo, the central player, and Rodrigo Dias, the left back, should be promoted by the Trás-os-Montes helmsman.
The midfield should feature Silas, Pedro Lima and João Simões, while the attack is also revolutionized, with all three members changing in the last third, with young Jesse Derry looking to start.
